In my science project, I discuss what happens to people’s bodies after death depending on environmental conditions. I also talk about the stages of decomposition of a dead body in relation to elapsed time. I also talk about how a corpse is determined to be dead. I give details about the body’s appearance, odour, and general degeneration. I review discoveries of people that have been preserved historically. I discuss the role of a mortician in death preservation and how different cultures treat dead bodies.
