Using ultrasonic sensors and 3 LED lights housed in silicone cases, a prototype was created to alert cyclists of the presence of objects in their blindspots. Lights are located on the handlebars and will flash when their respective sensors have detected motion. The presence of three lights ensures the rider knows the location of the nearby object and allows them to act accordingly. Rising cycling incidents are concerning; this device aims to lessen injuries and make sure bikers reach their destination safely.
